Lake Vinuela

Our Villa is located in a superb position overlooking Lake Vinuela, just outside the hilltop village of Los Romanes with spectacular views across to the Sierra De Tejeda National Park, including La Maroma (2066m) . It is only 45 minutes from Malaga airport and 20 minutes inland from the coast (the eastern end of the Costa Del Sol). The nearest coastal resort is Torre Del Mar and the nearest major town is Velez- Malaga, about 15 minutes away.

Places to Visit

Places to visit include Nerja, Ronda, Seville and Cordoba (both about 2hrs drive) and Gibraltar (about 2.5 hrs drive), plus a host of pretty, unspoilt villages in the immediate area around Lake Vinuela and Velez-Malaga. The famous city of Grenada is less than 90 minutes away and another 30 mins past Grenada brings you to Solynieve, the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada. With a highest peak of 3481m, this well- equipped ski area is higher than many in Switzerland or Austria. Skiing goes on from December to April. All in all, our villa is ideally located for either a quiet, do-nothing time or a busy sight-seeing tour of Andalucia, for a skiing holiday or a summer break. Whatever you fancy, there’s something for you!
